To Each Their Own Tasty Bite
Selemonas Paltanavičius, Lina Eitmantytė-Valužienė. Kiekvienam savas kąsnis (To Each Their Own Tasty Bite), Vilnius: Tyto Alba, 2022. – 40 p.
In this pleasant, slightly ironic story for younger readers, the author combines fiction with actual knowledge of nature, repudiating certain stereotypes, for instance, that hedgehogs carry apples on their spines. This story reveals an educational truth, suggesting that everyone has their own nature according to which they must live, and that everyone is better off being true to themselves.
