The budgetary institution The Lithuanian Culture Institute (further – The Lithuanian Culture Institute) considers all personal data provided to it valuable and is committed to processing such data lawfully and with fairness, according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of The European Parliament and of The Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (EU General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and the national data protection law.

Personal data means any information that alone or in combination with other information identifies  an individual or relates to an identifiable individual as defined under applicable Data Privacy Legislation, primarily, individual’s name, family name, email, phone number, etc.

If you do not agree with personal data processing as outlined in this Privacy Policy, you have the right to refuse to provide your personal data to the Lithuanian Culture Institute. Also, in cases when we rely on your consent as our legal basis for processing some of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us using contact details below and in other ways outlined in this Privacy Policy. It will not override the lawfulness of our consent-based processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of consent.

With the growth of its sphere of activity and services, the Lithuanian Culture Institute may need to update this Privacy Policy.  II. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE LITHUANIAN CULTURE INSTITUTE

2.1. When you visit the website www.lithuanianculture.lt, run by the Lithuanian Culture Institute (further – website), the Lithuanian Culture Institute collects, uses and processes the personal data that is necessary for ensuring high-quality access to the content provided on the Lithuanian Culture Institute website (the purpose for personal data processing). The legal ground for the Lithuanian Culture Institute processing any individual’s personal data is the data subject’s consent to process their data.

      3. social network users who follow the Lithuanian Culture Institute profiles on such social networks as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. The Lithuanian Culture Institute can get information about users who reach out to the Lithuanian Culture Institute via the above listed social networks or who are active on these networks through third parties that provide the service of these social networks.

2.3. The Lithuanian Culture Institute does not purposefully collect any information about children under 14. III. HOW THE LITHUANIAN CULTURE INSTITUTE USES AND STORES THE COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA

    1. When you use the Lithuanian Culture Institute website, the Lithuanian Culture Institute may collect the visitors’ IP addresses.       2. to request from the Lithuanian Culture Institute to complete your personal data if it is incomplete, correct it or update it;
      3. to request for their personal data to be erased or its processing to be terminated;  
      4. to request the restriction or suppression of the processing of their personal data, when there is a lawful reason for that;
      5. to request to transfer their personal data;
      6. the right of other regulations of individuals’ personal data protection, as outlined in the GDPR and the national data protection law.
