Open call for Vilnius Fellowship Programme in Vilnius International Book Fair
The Vilnius International Book Fair, the largest literary event in the Baltic region, is thrilled to announce the second edition of the Vilnius Fellowship Programme. We invite publishers and editors from around the world to explore Lithuanian literature and connect with professionals in the literary heart of the Baltics.
Launched in 2025 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Vilnius Book Fair, the Vilnius Fellowship Programme continues to foster professional dialogue, literary exchange, and long-term collaborations within and beyond the region. The visit is scheduled for February 24 to 27 2026, and will focus on children’s books, welcoming five international publishing professionals.
The fellowship offers a rich and varied programme, including market presentations, matchmaking sessions, and numerous networking opportunities in Vilnius. Over the course of two full days of organised activities, fellows will also have time to explore the Vilnius Book Fair, attend its dynamic events, and arrange individual business meetings.
The Vilnius Fellowship Programme is organized by the Lithuanian Publishers Association in collaboration with the Lithuanian Culture Institute (LCI).
