Culture ecology: the alternative view to economical opinion about culture value

On the 4th of March EU program “Creative Europe” and Menų spaustuvė/ Arts printing house invited professor John Holden (UK) to read the lecture “Culture ecology: the alternative view to economical opinion about culture value”. The purpose of this event – to introduce new point of view on culture and its analysis through terminology and methods of ecology. What if we look at culture as a social process like an ecosystem and not like economical process?

As professor John Holden says: “The value of culture cannot be expressed only with statistics. Audience numbers give us a poor picture of how culture enriches us.”
