Board

The Board of the Lithuanian Culture Institute assists the Institute in planning its activities and evaluating its results. The Board considers and presents conclusions and proposals on the Institute’s future and annual activity plans and reports. It also advises on content and organisational subjects, search for additional financial resources and other issues related to the Institute’s activities. The Board is approved by the order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania for a three-year term.

 

In 2023-2026, the following members shall co-operate in the Board of the Lithuanian Culture Institute:

  • Kristupas Sabolius, Chairman of the Board; professor at the Institute of Philosophy, Vilnius University;
  • Marius Janukonis, Director of the Strategic Management and Analysis Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • Lidija Bajarūnienė, Chief Specialist of the Economic Development Group at the Ministry of Economy and Innovation;
  • Jurgita Binkienė, Head of the Cultural Diplomacy Division at the Communication and Cultural Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • Goda Giedraitytė, cultural manager;
  • Anders Kreuger, curator, writer, and director of the contemporary art gallery Kohta (Helsinki);
  • Daiva Parulskienė, Senior Advisor of the Professional Creativity and International Policy Group at the Ministry of Culture;
  • Daina Urbanavičienė, Vice-Minister of Culture;
  • Gabrielė Žaidytė, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Cultural Affairs.
