The Lithuanian Dance Information Centre and the Lithuanian Culture Institute invite you to the first virtual Lithuanian Contemporary Dance Showcase, which will feature a selection of outstanding Lithuanian dance groups and dancers working in the field of contemporary dance today. Through two series of meetings, the creative work of 3 Lithuanian dance groups for children and 5 emerging dancers will be introduced as we explore the diversity of the Lithuanian contemporary dance scene. Each meeting will include an artist’s pitch video, a meeting with the artist, and a Q&A session with the artist led by a moderator.  

The Lithuanian Contemporary Dance Showcase marks a new chapter in the Lithuanian Culture Institute’s Study Visit Programme. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme has been adapted to offer newly produced virtual content and networking possibilities, with in-person visits to Lithuania proposed for the future.  

Please note that all showcase meetings will be held in English.
