The Lithuanian Culture Institute and the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius organize the first Lithuanian Visual Arts Showcase, which will feature a selection of prominent Lithuanian artists working in the field of contemporary art today. Through a series of ten meetings the creative work of ten artists will be introduced as we explore the diversity of the Lithuanian visual arts scene. Each meeting will include an artist’s presentation by a curator, a meeting with the artist and a Q&A session with the artist and curator.  

The Lithuanian Visual Arts Showcase marks a new chapter in the Lithuanian Culture Institute’s Study Visit Programme. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme has been adapted to offer newly produced virtual content and networking possibilities, with in-person visits to Lithuania proposed for the future.
