AUŠRINĖ ŽILINSKIENĖ, DIRECTOR OF THE LITHUANIAN CULTURE INSTITUTE, RE-ELECTED TO EUNIC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

EUNIC General Assembly held in Munich re-elected Aušrinė Žilinskienė, Director of the Lithuanian Culture Institute, to the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Board of Directors.  Žilinskienė will be continuing her mission to represent culture institutes of smaller financial and staff means, with focus on the specifics and demands of their work, that she has begun two years ago.

The Board of Directors consists of six representatives of EUNIC member states that are elected for a term of two years. The Board oversees the direction of EUNIC network activities. The new Board of Directors will be headed by Joahnnes Ebert, Secretary General of the Goethe-Institut. The remaining seats will be held by Camilla Mordhorst (Danish Cultural Institute), Ondřej Černý (Czech Centres), Guzmán Palacios (AECID) and Matthieu Peyraud (Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France).
