The Lithuanian Culture Institute and Music Information Centre invite you to the first digital Lithuanian Jazz Showcase, which will feature some of the most outstanding Lithuanian jazz mucisians today. The showcase introduces six performers/ensembles reflecting the variety of the Lithuanian jazz scene. The Lithuanian Jazz Showcase brings established and acclaimed jazz musicians together with musicians and ensembles of a younger generation who frequently cross genre boundaries to create innovative musical hybrids.

Following the showcase there will be a group Q&A.

After the event there will be the possibility to have one to one virtual meetings with the musicians presented in the showcase. These will be organised on an individual basis.

The Lithuanian Jazz Showcase marks a new chapter in the Lithuanian Culture Institute’s Study Visit Programme. The programme has been adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic format by offering newly produced virtual content and networking possibilities, with inperson visits to Lithuania proposed for the future.
