The illustrator’s job to me is very similar to a performance – when creating a new character, I fully get into his role, it is the only way I am able to convey his mood, mimic, pose or a movement. I want to use the language of a resident of the world of fairy-tales, and not the observer. Creating for children is very interesting because when creating, I discover the possibilities for infinite fantasy and joyful transformation.
